What's New for 2023?

This sedan does come with some new changes, including an updated exterior. The front bumper is revised, and modern headlamps provide a clearer view at night. There's also a larger front grille. The Legacy Sport model comes with more embellishments for the exterior. The sedan's driver-assistance features now come equipped with Automatic Emergency Steering. The Touring XT model is now equipped with a wide-angle camera to improve your viewing angles.

Performance

The new Subaru Legacy comes with one of two powertrains. This includes a 2.5-liter engine that produces 176 pound-feet of torque and 182 horsepower. There's also a turbocharged engine that's 2.4 liters in size. This engine cranks out 277 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower. Stability and traction is enhanced via Traction Control and Active Torque Vectoring. Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive allows much more grip strength while driving on various surfaces. The Touring XT model reaches 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

Safety

Safety in the new Subaru Legacy comes from many factors. Side-curtain airbags and seat-mounted airbags are built in. Safety prevention comes in the form of Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, High Beam Assist and Blind Spot Detection. Drivers will also take advantage of the tire pressure monitoring system.

Technology

An abundance of tech features are standard for your enjoyment. Located in the center dash is an 11.6-inch touchscreen.
