2023 is a big year for Subaru. There are a few redesigns going on, and the brand-new, all-electric Subaru Solterra is hitting the market. The Solterra will have many Subaru hallmarks buyers love, such as all-wheel drive (AWD). But there are other changes on various Subaru models of which you should take note.

The All-New Solterra

The 2023 Subaru Solterra is a dual-motor EV with a 72.8-kWh battery pack that can drive 228 miles on one charge. It seats five and has 30 cubic feet of cargo space, which makes it like the Forester. Active lane control and blind-spot monitoring are standard, and wireless smartphone app integration is equipped.

Models With Redesigns For 2023

The 2023 Outback receives a new front fascia and cladding around the fenders and wheel arches. An 11.6-inch touchscreen comes on all but the base trim, and the new Onyx trim has 18-inch alloy wheels and water-repellent upholstery in the cabin, which is ideal for people with kids or pets.

The 2023 Legacy has a bigger front grille, wireless smartphone app integration, and an 11.6-inch display. The 2023 Impreza carries over from the previous model year with a minimal price increase.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek features the new Special Edition trim level, which comes in the special Desert Khaki color. Upgrading to the SE trim level will nab you some dark trim elements and darkly shaded 17-inch alloy wheels. Red contrast stitching comes on the red-and-black upholstery for a sportier vibe.

The 2023 BRZ carries over unchanged, featuring the EyeSight bundle of driver aids and a standard 8-inch touchscreen display. The 2023 Ascent gets a revised front and rear design, complete with new C-shaped taillights and LED headlight housings.
