The vehicle is powered by a battery pack that runs the full length of the vehicle under its floor and twin electric motors. The Solterra can go over 220 miles on a full charge with 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. The all-wheel drivetrain manages any ground terrain, allowing you to go anywhere you want on and off the road.
It is rumored that Subaru was granted permission to borrow the electric system design from Toyota's electric vehicles. If you compare the electric system setup with Toyota's electric vehicle design, it seems the story is true. The vehicle's exterior is very futuristic, with a curved front hood and concave front grill area. The back of the Solterra is very sporty and has a spoiler on the rear.

The 2025 Subaru Solterra comes in three trim levels. Each one costs a few thousand dollars more than the last but has more features to make the Solterra exciting and fun to drive.
It's a luxury crossover SUV in the midsize category. The introductory body styling is the same as it was for 2023. The battery will receive minor tweaks to increase the distance the Solterra can travel. Nothing else will change inside or out, including that the Premium trim model will not have certain features that the Touring and Limited models will have and do have. The Premium trim model starts at $44,000.
Limited trim includes a power sunroof, power-folding heated side mirrors, larger wheels for greater control on or off the road, and roof rails to haul bikes, canoes, luggage, and anything else you would take on a road trip. Heated front seats are standard in all trim models of the Solterra, but 10-way power seats for the driver are only available in the Touring and Limited models. A heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel is just one of the many luxury features in the Limited. The Limited retails around $48,000.
Selling on most dealership lots for about $52,000, the Touring is the top trim model for Solterra. It has everything the other two trim models don't. It features more technology, safety, and comfort features that every time you drive it, you will feel spoiled.
